A West London Borough requires an Area Manager for Envirocrime Prevention. You will be required to manage a team of up to 8 Enforcement Officers and contract manage performance monitoring and ensuring compliance with the contract specification. You will lead on envirocrime enforcement ensuring that the council fulfils its functions under relevant delegated powers and statutory duties eg under Environmental Protection Act 1990, Highways Act 1980, London Local Authorities Acts and Clean Neighbourhoods Legislation.You will ensure enforcement officers utilise relevant legislation according to different envirocrime scenarios and ensure preventative solutions. You will analyse and interpret management information to provide strategic direction for the team within your area of responsibility.You will have knowledge of legislation relevant to the area team including PACE, Environment Protection Act 1990, Highways Act 1980, London Local Authorities Acts and Clean Neighbourhoods Legislation.You will have a minimum of 3 years experience within a similar service and have proven staff management experienceFor more opportunities, please visit www.synergygroup.co.uk.
